Effect of synthetic regulators on cucumber and corn growth responses under the effect of heavy metals

The effect of cytokinin growth regulators on linear growth parameters of cucumbers and corn grown in the presence of different heavy metal concentrations is investigated. Treatment of seeds with regulators promotes normalization of plant growth, in which case the roots responded most effectively to thidiazuron and shoots to Cytodef and kinetin.
