摘要：

In the title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C16H24BrO)], the eta(5)-cyclopentadiene rings are essentially eclipsed, while the well ordered chain of the undecanone substituent is bowed significantly towards the Fe atom. In the crystal structure, adjacent molecules form inversion-related dimers through weak C-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot Br interactions. These dimers are further aggregated by intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions between neighbouring cyclopentadiene rings, forming zigzag chains along the c axis.
