Phase-compensated output mirrors of the cavities of CO2 processing lasers

This paper discusses designs and fabrication methods for phase-compensated output elements for unstable cavities with a definite radial profile of the reflectance to form a pseudo-Gaussian mode at the output of the cavity. Such elements allow the efficiency of the laser to be significantly increased and make the radiation intensity during focusing several times as high. (C) 2000 The Optical Society of America.
