Efficient Generation of Transform-Limited Mid-Infrared Pulses Based on Sum-Frequency Generation in CdSe Crystal

摘要
We have efficiently generated coherent mid-infrared pulses at 3.42 mu m by mixing a CO2 laser beam with its second-harmonic output beam in a CdSe crystal with the output peak power as high as 39.2 W. (C) 2009 Optical Society of America
