摘要
A new universal modification to the method of discrete sources was developed for a case of 2D (-or 3D) bodies. This modification utilizes an analytical transformation of the scatterer's contour (-or surface) to construct the auxiliary contours (-or surfaces) in the procedure of the method of discrete sources. The advantages of the new universal modification of the method of discrete sources are illustrated by solving the scattering problems for perfect conducting and dielectric cylinders with elliptical or complicated cross-section and a body of revolution.
