摘要
A novel single linearly polarized widely tunable Yb3+ - doped fiber laser with alternatively two orthogonal polarization (wavelength) laser beams was proposed and demonstrated experimentally.Using a polarization ebam splitting (PBS) as the separting of the two tunable laserbeams in a linear Yb3+ -doped fiber cavity tge laser generates two alternatively tunable wave length laser. Beam 1 is from 1001.9 nm to 1083.4 nm with single linear polarizationa nd 368 mW 9at 1030.1 nm) output power. Beam 2 is from 1000.0 nm ti 1082.5 nm with 395 m W (at. The tunable spectrum of laser beam 1 (left) and laser beam 2 1018.4 nm) output power and orthogonally polarized with beam (right) under a 529 m W pump power. The two outputs laser beam 1. In addition, the laser can also work in widely tunable two are linearly and orthogonally polarized each other wavelengths oscillating simultaneously.
