摘要
The electrochemical behaviour of alizarin red S (ARS) on a glassy carbon electrode was studied. The interaction between ARS and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) was studied by cyclic voltammetry and Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. By studying the effect of ethidium bromide to the ARS-DNA system, we deduced the conclusion that ARS can intercalate into DNA when interacting. The effects of temperature, reaction time and the pH of the buffer solution were also studied.
