Use of infrared spectroscopy to assess the crosslinking of metal-polymer composites

摘要
A com. epoxy resin was filled with bronze, brass, Cu and Fe powders, cured with triethylenetetraamine, and studied for crosslinking degree by it spectrophotometry and for mech. properties (hardness, compressive strength, impact strength) by std. methods. The filling with Fe powder resulted in the catalytic acceleration of the curing. The composites were recommended for regeneration of the worn machine elements.
