Non-pulsating input and output current Cuk, SEPIC, Zeta and Forward converters for high-voltage step-up applications

摘要
Four families of non-isolated single-switch Cuk, SEPIC, Zeta and Forward converters are derived. They incorporate coupled-inductor, voltage-doubler and voltage clamping circuits to accomplish a high DC voltage step-up at high-efficiency levels. Besides Cuk and SEPIC, Zeta and Forward can also have the advantage of operating with continuous input and output currents, which provide accurate tracking of the maximum power point of photovoltaic modules and a reduction in the use of DC-link bulky electrolytic capacitors.
