摘要
In this paper we describe the application of the artificial muscles for robots. We made a manipulator using the shape memory alloy artificial muscle and the dielectric elastomer artificial muscle. Our results showed that problems arise from the heat generated from the shape memory alloy when an appropriate number of artificial muscles are used. Also the stretch capacity of a dielectric elastomer artificial muscle is small. We propose a method to compensate for this tiny displacement. The application of artificial muscle will expand an application range by the feedback control using a thermistor and the application of artificial muscle increasing displacement. This paper is in two distinct parts, manipulator using shape memory alloy part and dielectric elastomer artificial muscle part.
