摘要
The deviations of machined surfaces of high precision mechanical components are one of the major error items that affect the precision and performance of the components. In this paper, a practical approach towards evaluating 3D surface profile deviation is proposed based on discrete co-ordinate measurement data. Spur gears and helical gears are used as inspection samples to test the approach developed. The trial results are very promising.
