摘要
A new steroidal glycoside called planciside D was isolated from the tropical starfish Acanthaster planci and assigned the structure (24S)-3-O-(2-O-methyl-beta-D-xylopyranosyl)-28-O-[alpha-L-fucopyranosyl-(1 -> 2)- beta-Dxylopyranosyl]-24-methylcholest-4-ene-3 beta,6 beta,8,15 alpha,16 beta,28-hexaol. Planciside D was a triglycoside containing two carbohydrate chains, which are rarely found in starfish. Its structure was established using 2D NMR spectroscopy and tandem mass spectrometry with electrospray ionization (ESI).
