摘要
A correlation between tensile flow stress and Zener-Hollomon factor in TiAl alloys at high temperature is studied. Plastic flow stress σ of an alloy is determined by the substructure, temperature T and strain rate dε/dt. Sometimes it is simply approximated by strain ε because it is difficult to fully reflect substructure, with the result that σ is a function of ε, T and dε/dt. Zener and Hollomon reduced the effects of T and dε/dt on σ into that of a combined factor which is referred to as the Zener-Hollomon factor. Temperature and strain rate are found to affect mechanical behavior of TiAl alloys at high temperatures.
