摘要
Density of three binary mixtures formed by gamma-butyrolactone with benzene, or toluene, or ethylbenzene has been determined over the full range of compositions over the temperatures range (293.15 to 353.15) K and the local barometric pressure using a vibrating-tube densimeter. From these experiments, excess molar volumes (V-m(E)) have been calculated. It is found to be negative with a minimum at about the mole fraction of 0.5. Excess volumes were also fitted to a Redlich-Kister type equation. Our result shows V-m(E) decreases when temperature increases in the studied systems. (C) 2006 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
