TRANSHUMANISM - A NEW FAITH OR A NEW RELIGION?

Transhumanism is one of the most complex and appealing cultural movement of the beginning of the 3rd millennium. It is in the middle in the evolution from "humanism" toward "posthumanism". Surprisingly, it seems to have some characteristics that could be found in faith or religion as well. Because the accelerating pace of the technological revolution we are participating in is affecting every Human Being and the humankind itself, a discussion about the relationship between the nowadays derivates and inheritors of the classical "humanism" became important for such questions as those related to the future of Human Being itself.
