Low-frequency dielectric dispersion and Raman spectroscopy of amorphous LiNbO3

摘要
Amorphous LiNbO3 was prepared using twin-roller melt quenching method, and the low-frequency dielectric dispersion and Raman spectroscopy of amorphous LiNbO3 was examined. A hopping model was introduced to explain this low-frequency (down to the 10(-4) Hz) dielectric behavior. When the heat-treating temperature of the sample was higher than the glass transition temperature, it was revealed that the sample changed it's configurational coordinate to reduce the free energy of the sample by observing the dielectric behavior at low-frequencies. Raman spectroscopy has been employed for the heat-treated samples to study the structural changes from amorphous to the crystalline phases.
