摘要：

The technical aspects of materials selection, design and manufacture, etc. as well as non-technical inssues of economics and management, etc. with respect to titanium equipment applications are discussed in this paper. The study of the damage type and protective design of titanium equipment shows that titaninum equipment should be properly protected in order to keep it operating safely. The selection of titanium equipment should be based on economic analysis. Scientific management methods should be applied to titanium equipment.
