摘要
Five types of alkyl hydrocarbon and wax phase change slurries (PCSs) with different mass concentrations are prepared and the thermal and flow properties of those PCSs are tested including phase change temperature, latent heat and viscosity using Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) and NDJ-8S viscosity meter. Property comparison of different PCSs is conducted and the effect of concentration, operating temperature and shear rate on the thermal and flow properties is investigated. With combined consideration of thermal and flow properties, the alkyl hydrocarbon PCS with a mass concentration of 30% is chosen for optimized energy performance in solar heat collection.
