摘要
This paper describes a relationship between workflow and labor factors such as variations in labor resource stability and worker loyalty. In order to measure such factors, relevant indicators are identified and validated through interviews with experts. In addition, a causal model is presented to explain the relationship among labor factors and workflow. The theoretical basis for this model rests on the assumption that worker loyalty and the rate of worker change are consistent with variations in the planned workflow. A case study of a building construction project was performed to implement the causal model. A statistical method, called path analysis, was adopted to verify the causal model. The result of the analysis is in good agreement with the concepts used in the assumption, and thus, the conclusion can be made that the suggested labor factors are substantial in the management of workflow.
