摘要
HPW/TiO2 photocatalysts were prepared by impregnation of TiO2 powder with aqueous solutions of HPW (heteropolytungstate acid, abbreviated as HPW) and characterized by BET specific surface area, UV-vis/DRS and FTIR. Photocatalytic performance of HPW/TiO2 catalysts was investigated with HCHO as test molecular in a static photoreactor under the illumination of 11 W UV light. The results indicated that the catalytic performance of the decomposition of HCHO over HPW/TiO2 was the best when the loading of HPW is 21.9 Wt%. With HPW loading content increasing, the partial reduction product of methanol was observed. The synergistic effects of TiO2 with HPW were obvious and the probable mechanism was suggested.
