摘要
In this work, we present a dipole antenna which demonstrates resonance-frequency reconfiguration enabled by the application of Origami folding methods. The antenna resembles a regular dipole antenna at the unfolded state and mimics a bow tie antenna when is completely folded. The simulated results show a frequency reconfiguration over a bandwidth of 2.41 GHz. To enable the design-process, an in house toolset is developed which generates 3-D origami substrates in ANSYS HFSS utilizing origami math algorithms linked with Mathematica.
