摘要
An improved computational method for the suppression of interference fringe in absorption spectroscopy has been developed. The interference fringe is isolated using a combination of digital filter techniques in the energy, or cm(-1), domain and Fourier analysis in the wavelength, or cm, domain. The isolated fringe spectrum is then cleanly subtracted from the original spectrum. This process does not distort spectral features or the spectral base line. Applications of this technique to surface infrared spectroscopy are presented. (C) 2004 American Institute of Physics.
