摘要
Influence of the sample preparation conditions on the thermal degradation of PVC was studied using PVC-nitrile rubber blends cast from initial solutions of various concentrations. It was found that various methods of the component blending lead to different kinetic conditions influencing the phase structure of a final blend and, hence, the rate of PVC degradation. It is suggested that a nonequilibrium state of the macromolecular chains in films formed from a polymer blend may lead to accelerated thermal degradation of the blend components.
