摘要
The ferrofluid transport phenomena have a considerable interest in the boundary layer flow due to its versatility in advancing emerging industrial applications, such as printing. In this concern, the current theoretical model examines the particulate suspension's transport phenomena in the magnetite ferrofluid past a permeable non-isothermal moving surface with the viscous dissipation effect. Self-similarity quantities are applied to ease the solving process in the built-in collocation method, bvp4c function in the MATLAB software. The kerosene-based ferrofluid showed a better convective heat transfer rate than the water-based ferrofluid as the governing parameters vary. The dust particles' increment in the ferrofluid increases the frictional drag force exerted on the shrinking sheet significantly. Dual solutions are obtainable only when the sheet shrinks to some extent. However, stability analysis confirmed that one of the numerical solutions is not stable.
