摘要
Distribution automation is an important technology to improve reliability of distribution system. Service restoration is done to restore loads after the occurrence of a fault by changing the status of sectionalizing switches and tie switches present in the network. This topological change should not violate any electrical or topological constraint of the network. This paper presents a novel approach based on Binary Shuffled Frog Leaping Algorithm (BSFLA), which provides more efficient results than the previous proposed meta-heuristic techniques applied for service restoration. Minimization of active power loss and out-of-service area are the objectives for restoration problem. The practicality of the proposed technique is confirmed in an IEEE standard test distribution network.
