摘要
The compressional behaviour of polyester-fibre Shingosen fabrics was analysed by using new mechanical parameters proposed by the authors and conventional parameters, namely, LC, WC, and RC, The fabrics could be classified into three types based upon the fabric-, yarn-, and fibre-production procedures. A combination of the compressional parameters b(1), b(2), and LC classified these types best. Shingosen fabrics of the fibre-production type could be further subdivided into three groups consisting of contractile, irregular, and ultrafine fibres characterized by a combination of the compressional parameters b(2), b(3), and RC.
