A fast mixed-signal simulation approach and an efficient signal analysis technique with application to continuous-time sigma-delta modulator design

摘要
First, a mixed-signal simulation approach is proposed for uncompromising performance in continuous-time sigma-delta modulator simulation. Compared to previous methods, it provides all of the necessary design information 40x faster and with exacting accuracy. Second, a sinusoidal signal analysis technique is proposed for SNR computation. Compared to the standard power spectrum estimation method, it requires 16x fewer data points and enables transistor-level simulations for SNR to become far more practical.
