Wavevector filtering of turbulent pressure fluctuations with a three-dimensional transducer array

摘要
The effect of turbulent pressure fluctuations (TPF) on spacial discrete transducer arrays is analyzed. Expressions for the response of spacial discrete arrays to TPFs are derived. It is suggested to use these arrays as spacial-wave filters measuring the statistical characteristics of the TPF field. Of two filters with a different number of layers over the depth of a viscoelastic material, the best filtering properties will be obtained with a configuration whose upper layer of transducers lies no higher than the lower layer of its counterpart.
