摘要
Due to the continuous development and improvement of the technology, optical coherence tomography (OCT) has yielded new approaches for the assessment of structures of the anterior segment of the eye in recent years. By enabling imaging of small structures, such as the tear film, the role of OCT in the diagnostics and follow-up of dry eye disease is constantly increasing. The present article provides an overview about current application possibilities of OCT in dry eye disease.
