摘要：

A distinctive but rare fly, Sinonemestrius akirai sp. nov. (family Xyophagidae), is described from the upper Hauterivian of southern England. This extends the range of the genus Sinonemestrius outside of China for the first time, and supports a Cretaceous date for the Laiyang Formation. (C) 2000 Academic Press.
