Research on Face Velocity and Bag Cleaning Parameters of Pulse-jet Filter Used to Collect Dust from Laminated Flooring Manufacturing

Because the methods of ascertaining operating and bag cleaning parameters of bag-hose dust collection are not clear in wood industry, this paper deals with dust from laminated flooring, and simulate normal producing conditions in lab, such as initial dust concentration. The influences of filter medium, face velocity and bag cleaning parameters on outlet dust concentration and pressure drop of bag are investigated, as well. The optimal conditions, e.g., filter medium, operating and cleaning parameters could be appropriately chosen so as to offer reliable and economic works of dust collecting equipment used for this kind of dust. Eventually energy-saving may be realized.
