The current study revised the subjective value inventory (SVI). Firstly, we translated, modified, and altered all of the 16 items of the SVI, then we conducted item analysis, reliability analysis, criterion-relater analysis, and discriminant analysis by setting simulated negotiation situation. The results from the distributive and integrative negotiation verified the three-factor structure of the SVI. The current study suggested that the reliability and validity of Chinese version of SVI were good, and the inventory was an effective tool for measuring social psychological outcomes of negotiation.
