摘要
Waste biomass sourced from straw, corncob and fallen leaves were used to fabricate activated carbon via fast pyrolysis. The peculiarities in morphology, structure and chemical composition of obtained carbon were investigated by different analysis methods, which exhibited the existence of porous and flocculent carbon aggregations accompanied with plant cellular morphologies. The disorder degree in three obtained bio-carbon was similar, whereas diverse proportions of chemical bonding and chemical compositions were indicated on the surfaces. By recycling the waste biomass into bio-carbons, green raw carbon source was anticipated for the potential industrial applications. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
