摘要：

This paper is dedicated to the Valley of the Sugar Mills (Valle do los Ingenios) in the Sancti Spiritus region of Cuba. This site, located near the city of Trinidad, is unique in the world, which led to its inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988. Covering approximately 270 km(2), the Valley represents the processes that shaped relations in Cuban society between 1650 and 1850. The text describes selected elements that are part of the Valley (Manaca Iznaga, San Isidro de los Destiladeros, Sugar Museum).
