摘要
The ratio of time from pulse origin to the maximum of its envelope, divided by the pulse frequency T′/ω is shown to be proportional to the fracture surface area for chalk failure analysis. This parameter is directly calculable from parametrization data, and is independent of different auxiliary factors. In the analysis of failure, the T′/ω value was found to vary by first order of magnitude during the stress-strain rise, with a maximum value just before the peak stress.
