摘要
In this paper, the author investigated the coupling degree evaluation model of rural tourism and new rural construction based on the capacity-coupling coefficient model. The findings show that the capacity-coupling coefficient has broad application prospects in the rural tourism industry, thereby benefiting both visitors and rural tourism suppliers. Among six rural tourism sectors, rural tourism transportation has a good combination with the capacity-coupling coefficient. However, the applications of this coefficient in the tourist catering, shopping, and entertainment sectors are limited and deserves further attention. This paper elaborates the application of the capacity-coupling coefficient in different rural tourism sectors and identifies directions for future studies, which will benefit the research and practice of capacity-coupling coefficient application in the entire rural tourism industry.
