摘要
(Chemical equation presented) Go for the burn! A one-pot approach to the efficient synthesis of lactic acid through the aerobic oxidation of glycerol in the presence of bases at an atmospheric pressure of O2 is reported, which combines two consecutive reactions, including oxidative dehydrogenation of glycerol to its dehydrogenated intermediates and their subsequent isomerization (see scheme). © 2010 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
