摘要：
Apoptosis is a form of cell death which occurs in a wide variety of liver diseases. This review presents: generalities of the process and methods of detection; apoptosis as generator of disease in alcoholic hepatitis, viral hepatitis, hepatocellular carcinoma, cholestasis, allograft rejection, Wilson's disease and considerations about the possible implementation of therapeutics for modulating apoptosis in liver diseases.
