摘要
The silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized by biodegradable method using leaf extract of Prosopis cineraria. The green synthesized nanoparticles showed the surface plasmonic resonance peak at 441 nm which confirmed the presence of AgNPs. The phyto chemicals of Prosopis cineraria leaf extract acted as reducing agents, which were corroborated by the infrared spectrum. Electron microscopic analysis substantiate that the AgNPs were spherical in shape with an average size of 40-60 nm. The x-ray diffraction study revealed that the AgNPs were in face centered cubic crystal system. The antimicrobial activity of the synthesized AgNPs was investigated for broad spectrum of microorganisms. Also, the synthesized AgNPs were analyzed for their anticancer activity against the Lung cancer cell line (A549).
