摘要
The effects of phase shift value and position on the laser characteristics of single phase-shifted distributed feedback laser diodes (1PS DFB LDs) are investigated using the transfer matrix method. The results show that the quarterly wavelength-shifted (QWS) DFB laser oscillates at the Bragg wavelength, presenting the minimum threshold gain, a higher gain margin, and a flatter field intensity when the coupling coefficient is around KcL = 1.25 (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
