Preparation and characterization of two new dielectric ceramics Ba3La2Ti2Nb2O15 and Ba2La3Ti3NbO15

摘要
Two new A(5)B(4)O(15)-type cation-deficient hexagonal perovskites Ba3La2Ti2Nb2O15 and Ba2La3Ti3NbO15 were prepared in the BaO-La2O3-TiO2-Nb2O5 system by high temperature solid-state reaction route. The phase and structure of the ceramics were characterized by Xray diffraction and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Ba3La2Ti2Nb2O15 has a dielectric constant of 49.37, a high quality factors with Q(u) x f up to 20,207 at 4.8692 GHz, and a small temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (tau(f)) + 4 ppm degreesC(-1) at room temperature; Ba2La3Ti3NbO15 has a dielectric constant of 42.83 with high Q(u) x f up to 21,726 at 5.8562 GHz, and a low tau(f) of -8 ppm degreesC(-1).
