摘要
For the calculation of time varying non-linear eddy current field problems with moving conductors time-stepping methods ave necessary. in some cases quasi-stationary methods ran be used alternatively in order to reduce the high calculation effort of transient calculations and to avoid complications of moving meshes. The paper compares quasi-stationary and transient finite element methods for the computation of eddy current brakes and induction machines with respect to the transient parameters, the accuracy of the solution and the computation time.
