摘要
Concrete is composite material consisting of cement, fine aggregate and coarse aggregates. The ingredients of cement are highly expensive and also create a very bad impact on the environment due to the hazardous emission of carbon dioxide in the troposphere. Therefore, the researchers and scientists are in search of eco-friendly construction materials. In this regard, sticky rice pulp, Samanea Saman pod and human hair are organic materials that can be used by some percentage to enhance the quality of construction work and curtail the cost of construction. This review paper is focused on utilization of sticky rice pulp, Samanea Saman pods and human hair in concrete which is a new concept. This review paper also insights the application of sticky rice pulp, Samanea Saman pods and human hair in concrete in terms of its working and mechanical properties. In future this review, engineering application of concrete with the above organic materials will help to provide a guide for environment friendly building materials. Copyright (c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd.
