INFLUENCE OF SOME FOLIAR TREATMENTS ON GROWTH, YIELD AND QUALITY OF PEA (PISUM SATIVUM L.)

摘要
The present study was perfoil led to evaluate the effect of five foliar applications Le, nitric oxide (NO) 25 ml.L-1, salicylic acid (SA) 50 ml.L-1, chitosan 75 ml.L-1, carrot root extract (CRE) 100 ml.L-1 and tap water as control on vegetative growth, flowering parameters, leaf chemical constitutes, green pods yield and its components, antioxidant enzymes as well as seed yield and its quality of pea plants (Master B cultivar). The obtained results indicated that all treatments had positive effects on growth and yield parameters, moreover, nitric oxide at a rate of 25 ml L-1 was superior treatment compared with other treatments. The highest values of all investigated characters were recorded with nitric oxide followed by salicylic acid while the lowest values were found at control. According to the findings of the current study, the superior treatment sequence from top to less was the nitric oxide > salicylic acid > chitosan > carrot extract > tap water (control).
