摘要
In this communication, bismuth molybdates (Bi2MoO6) with various crystalline phases were fabricated for comparative study on the visible-light-driven photocatalysis and potential application in the removal of tetracycline (TC) from wastewater. Bi2MoO6 nanomaterials were synthesized by hydrothermal syntheses in the presence of DNA biomacromolecules as templates and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), scanning electronmicroscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and other analytical techniques. The optimal photocatalyst for tetracycline (TC) degradation under visible irradiation was determined to be the gamma-Bi2MoO6. By contrast, the gamma-Bi2MoO6 exhibited enhanced photocatalytic degradation efficiency of ca. 77.2%, which was 37.1% higher than that of the alpha-Bi2MoO6. Furthermore, the gamma-Bi2MoO6 photocatalyst showed considerable stability and could be recycled for reuse, which was promising for the potential application in wastewater treatment.
