Forearm compartment syndrome is an uncommon but emergent condition that can threaten limb and life. An uncommon cause of compartment syndrome is deep venous thrombosis, usually in the setting of phlegmasia cerulea dolens of the lower extremity. We present a case of compartment syndrome secondary to venous occlusion of the upper extremity clue to phlegmasia cerulea dolens in a patient with metastatic lung cancer.
