摘要
Job satisfaction is one of the major concerns in the field of managing psychology and human resource management. The revision Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaires and interviews were used to obtain data for the present study. This study attempts to find the factors that affect job satisfaction, explores the relationships between job satisfaction and resignation trend of employees, and suggests ways of implementing the effective work motivation to increase the job satisfaction among employees for small and medium enterprises in China. The study indicates that employees in small and medium enterprises think a lot of working relationships, respect and safety, but think little of working conditions and working characteristics; extrinsic job satisfaction produces a remarkable influence on the resignation trend. Increasing the extrinsic job satisfaction will reduce loses of the staffs and improve the competitive advantage of the small and medium enterprises.
