摘要：
In this paper, we report for the first time to the best of our knowledge the characteristics of fiber Bragg gratings written into spun fibers with certain intrinsic birefringence and short spinning pitches. Characteristics of Bragg gratings in these spun fibers are found to be apparently different from those in traditional single-mode fibers in terms of optical spectrum and polarization-mode dispersion. Bragg gratings in different spun fibers are compared and analyzed.
