摘要
Since priority sectors are critical to high and sustained growth of GDP, it should be the business of public sector banks to support these sectors irrespective of whether there are credit targets or not. While the Ninth Plan recognises the critical role of this sector, the credit policy needs to be reoriented so as to reverse the neglect of this sector in the recent past.
