摘要：

This paper discusses issues regarding knowledge management in product development including the operations on knowledge and the approaches to knowledge management. An integrated model of knowledge management and application is proposed. The method of using EPC (Event driven Process Chain) for mapping a knowledge web and an agent web is used and the knowledge-based engineering is discussed in the paper.
